I. The National Steering Commission:

A. Coordinating Office

• Smooth implementation of the initial training program at the tertiary level across higher education institutions, as outlined in Decision No. 1419 dated December 24, 2022.

• Development, adjustment, and evaluation of tertiary level training program.
• Collaboration with the National Pedagogical Commissions for a better program implementation.
• Collaboration with the National commission for Distance Education regarding online teaching methodologies.
• Compilation of activity outcomes for presentation to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Additionally, any other actions to ensure the successful execution of the tertiary level training program.

Each National Pedagogic commission of complementary subject is responsible for the following:

• Elaborating, developing, and adjusting of teaching programs

• Ensuring the training of instructors responsible for teaching complementary subjects for doctoral students.
• Contributing to enhancing the quality of education.
• Monitoring and coordinating pedagogical activities.
• Compiling the outcomes of activities for submission to the National Commission’s coordination office
• Each National Pedagogical Commission is chaired by an expert in the subject, supported by highly qualified research professors. The members of the National Pedagogical Commissions are appointed by the Minister responsible for higher education and scientific research, according to Annex 2 of the decision No. 1419 dated February 2nd, 2023.
